Meet the team

Dr Azeez has practiced as a GP since 2010, he has completed his Fellowship in both General Practice and in Urgent Care. Dr Azeez also works at the Emergency Department of Southland hospital having completed a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Emergency Medicine. Dr Azeez has a special interest in emergency medicine, urgent care, and minor surgery.

Dr Azeez studied medicine in Ukraine completing his placements in the UK. He moved to Australia gaining further experience before moving with his young family to New Zealand where he finally settled in Invercargill in 2007. Dr Azeez is an avid traveller who enjoys exploring different countries and cultures.
