Wow Saturday was amazing and Southland……you turned up. 💚

We’re still taking in just how incredible Men’s Health Day 2026 was.

Invercargill Central was humming, from one end of the centre to the other. Conversations were happening, activities underway, people laughing, learning and stopping for health checks. That is exactly what we hoped this day could be, everyone having a great time.

An event like this only happens through collaboration. So many organisations, community groups, businesses and individuals said yes to a slightly ambitious idea and then brought their own energy, knowledge and creativity to it.

The team at Invercargill Central were incredible. They worked alongside us throughout the entire journey and helped us turn months of plans, emails, spreadsheets and slightly ridiculous ideas into something very real.

And to everyone who turned out in such force, thank you. For stopping for a conversation, having a health check, trying something new, bringing the kids, listening to our speakers, asking questions, having a laugh and spending part of your Saturday with us.

For now, though, we just wanted to say: Thank you, Southland. You made the day. 💚
