WIH has a knowledgeable and friendly team with patient care, health and wellbeing being our biggest focus.
Sometimes looking after your health starts with something as simple as a walk and a chat.
This September, Debbie and Amy, Health Improvement Practitioners, are getting out of the clinic and into Queens Park for a series of relaxed Tuesday morning walks. 🚶♀️🚶♂️
Debbie works with our team here at West Invercargill Health through Access and Choice, supporting our patients with their health and wellbeing.
The great thing about these walks is that there’s no referral needed and you don’t need to have seen Debbie or Amy before. If you’re a patient of one of the participating practices, you’re welcome to come along.
There’s no pressure and no complicated programme — just a chance to get outside, get moving, meet some new people and enjoy some good conversation.

West Invercargill Health turns four. 🎈
Four years ago we opened our doors with a simple goal – to create a practice that feels like family.
It's hard to believe our little practice is already four years old.
We are incredibly grateful for so many things – for the privilege of sharing in our patients' journeys, for the amazing team we work alongside every day, and for the many organisations and individuals who partner with us to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. We simply couldn't do it without you.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey over the past four years. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or have only recently joined our practice, you've helped shape who we are.
Here's to continuing to grow, learn and serve our community for many years to come.

Matariki Long Weekend Hours
As we celebrate the Māori New Year, our practice will be closed on Friday 10th July to observe the Matariki public holiday. We will reopen on Monday 13th July at 8:30 AM.
If you or your whānau require medical assistance over the long weekend, virtual consultations are fully available through Practice Plus from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
